In brutal honesty do you think your parent(s) (or caretaker) should have access to, or be able to at least follow you, on social media rhymes sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Youtube? Does the privacy mean a lot to you – or would you suggest other parents should take the initiative and follow their kids online- for safety purposes?

My parents follow me on Twitter and IG. They are also friends with me on FB. I don’t mind that my parents follow me, but I think some teens like privacy. I guess it just matters what each teen thinks. Everyone is different!

My parents don’t use computers. lol. My dad does at work, but at rhymes home he thinks that he should be spending time with his family and doesn’t get on the computer. My mom has a laptop that she uses to email family. But my parents don’t follow any of my brothers and sisters on social media. They tell us not to talk to people we don’t know or share our location, but other than that we can do what we want.
